Høst - Copenhagen, Denmark

Our Rating: ★★★ | ££££ - One-line thoughts (How we rate restaurants)

If you're looking for a dining experience that blends exceptional food, a beautiful ambience, and warm service, Høst in Copenhagen should be at the top of your list. We recently indulged in their 5-course set menu, and it was nothing short of outstanding.

The name "Høst" fittingly means "harvest" in Danish, and this restaurant truly lives up to that by celebrating fresh, seasonal ingredients in a beautiful setting.

Lobster tail

Starting with the scallops, which were fresh, delicate, and perfectly complemented by parsley and tomato, each course showcased thoughtful flavour pairings and quality ingredients.

One of us opted for the lobster tail, while the other had the beef tenderloin, both of which were exceptional and left us extremely satisfied.

Cauliflower with truffle

The restaurant’s decor further elevated the experience. We sat downstairs in a cozy, warm space with a rustic cellar feel that created an inviting and intimate vibe.

The service was another highlight – the staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond, even surprising us with a mini course between the main dishes, and another just before dessert, adding a lovely touch of hospitality and care.

Scallop

Our total bill, which included the supplements and wine, came to £100 per head, which we think is very reasonably priced, especially given the quality of the meal and the overall experience.

For us, Høst ranks among the best restaurants we've visited, providing incredible value for money and a memorable evening.
