Tucked away on Bermondsey Street, Flour & Grape is the ultimate spot for anyone passionate about pasta. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a loyal regular (like us!), it never disappoints.

The pasta is, of course, the star of the show. Freshly made in-house every day, you can actually watch the chefs rolling and crafting the dough in the open kitchen – it’s mesmerising!

Each plate is a work of art with a perfect balance of flavours, from rich ragus to delicate sauces. Personal favourites include the Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe – simple yet packed with flavour – and the Pappardelle with Beef Shin Ragu, which melts in your mouth.

One thing to note is that Flour & Grape doesn’t take bookings, so queues can be expected, especially during peak hours. But don’t let that put you off! Bermondsey Street is full of charming bars, perfect for grabbing a drink while you wait, whether it’s a craft beer at The Garrison or a wine at Bermondsey Corner.

Beyond the incredible food, the vibe is spot on.

Flour & Grape somehow strikes the perfect balance between laid-back and buzzing. It's the kind of place where you feel instantly at ease, whether you’re catching up with friends or out on a casual date. And if you're looking for pre or post-dinner drinks, their bar downstairs is ideal – cosy, stylish, and perfect for a glass of wine or two.

** Edit: We’ve just learned that they have closed the basement bar and turned it into a second dining room with more tables to reduce waiting times! But they still do cocktails so don’t worry **

They’ve curated a fantastic wine list, with plenty of Italian favourites that pair beautifully with the pasta.

Flour & Grape is one of those rare spots that’s consistently good, no matter how many times you go. The atmosphere, the food, and the friendly service keep us coming back. It’s the kind of place you want to share with everyone – and we have!
